Well. I just heard the people across the street moved and already took their pets over to the place they moved to. Their cat, a beautiful green-eyed with black long hair, had been visiting here every day, sometimes a few times a day since last December.
The first time I saw him, he was on our roof and he was a kitten. Not even a full pound. I had to talk to him to get him to get on a tree branch by the roof and he started to climb down the tree. He got scared I think. He looked and me and cried the sweetest cat voice I've ever heard. I reached up and got him out of the tree. Since that day, he's always favored me.
I hope he does okay at his new place. He has a tendency to stay out late into the night and run across the street in front of cars...so hopefully his owner has learned how to take better care of him. We've been helping this past year or so, honestly.
